Well. Im not an expert.
Never own a studio.
But for home recording.
Minimum requirement :
You need a pc with good sound card , mic , Instrument like keyboard , guitar so and so.
Software liked N-Track Studios , Audacity , Sound Forge , Acid Pro , Adobe Audition , Digital Sound Planet ...
There are a range of it.
For more advanced will have to seek the expert for answer.
